Shrimp and Grits Recipe
- 2 1/2 Water
- 1/2 cup Quick Grits (5 Minutes)
- 2 tablespoons of(or butter)
- Kosher Salt to taste
- Fresh Ground Black Pepper to taste
- ( Optional things to add if you have at home: Cheese and Scallions)
Takes , serves four people.
- Pour 2 cups of water into a large pot and and bring to a boil.
- Carefully, whisk in the grits continuing to whish to prevent lumps. The grits will begin to thicken..
- Reduce the heat, covera and continue cooking for about 6 minutes.
- Take off the heat and add margarine/butter (and/or cheese if using).
